This garden started out as a very steep, unmanageable hillside crowded with blackberries and several other noxious weeds. This garden has several tons of granite rock installed to make it look like a mountain outcropping. Concrete pathways with concrete patios were installed throughout the hill to make the garden accessible and to create areas to stop and rest as well as to enjoy the garden and the view of Lake Sammamish.
