Ken Nesland was selected to design and install the feature garden for the Seattle Home Show from 1977 to 2003. Due to his many different gardens and new creations through the years, he came to be known as the "idea man." People may recognize Ken from the numerous occasions in which he has appeared on local TV programs featuring the Seattle Home Show. He has also been featured in most all of the local papers and radio stations in the Puget Sound Area. Ken' s gardens for the show have been as large as 6000 Sq. Feet (roughly the size of a lot of city yards). With the help of up to 30 people and many truck loads of materials, his gardens were installed in 5 days.
